Ajooba jasper, also known as Fruit Jasper or Conglomerate Jasper, is a captivating stone with distinct geological characteristics and strong metaphysical associations centered on nurturing and stability.

Geologically, Ajooba jasper is a type of conglomerate jasper that forms in massive formations. It is composed of various colored jasper fragments (nodules of red, green, yellow, orange, and brown) cemented within a beige or tan chalcedony matrix. This unique appearance, sometimes compared to fruitcake, is the source of its alternative name, "Fruit Jasper".

Primarily sourced from quarries in the interior of India, it has a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, making it a durable microcrystalline quartz variety. The stone has a rich history of use as an ornamental and decorative building material in India, dating back to at least the 16th century, though its use as a crystal in modern healing practices is more recent.

Metaphysically, Ajooba jasper is often called the "Nurturing Stone" or "Miracle Jasper" for its powerful, supportive energy. It is deeply connected to the Earth element and is cherished for its ability to provide exceptional emotional grounding and stability, especially during times of stress or uncertainty.

The stone helps in absorbing negative energies and promoting inner peace, happiness, and completeness. Ajooba jasper is thought to enhance creativity, courage, and willpower, breaking through creative blocks and inspiring new ideas with determination.

It is primarily associated with the Root and Sacral Chakras, helping to align energy from the base of the spine up, promoting both a sense of safety and a boost in vitality and emotional resilience. It serves as a symbol of strength and perseverance, encouraging self-reflection and spiritual growth.
