Crinoid Fossil

A crinoid fossil is the ancient remains of a marine animal, often called a "sea lily" or "feather star," related to starfish and sea urchins, known for their flower-like appearance with feathery arms on a stalk, with the most common fossils being the stacked, button-like plates (columnals) from their stems, often found in Paleozoic limestones and indicating ancient shallow marine environments.

These fossils often exhibit a stem-like structure with feathery arms, resembling a flower or lily. The fossilized remains typically appear in shades of deep brown or black, though they can also be found in lighter hues. Crinoid Fossils have a hexagonal crystal structure and a Mohs hardness of 2.5.

Crinoid Fossils hold within them the energy of Universal and Ancient knowledge, making it a powerful tool for spiritual growth and emotional healing. They are known for their ability to transmute negative energy, help release past-life karmic patterns and aid in stability in this lifetime. They are an excellent tool for manifestation, grounding and growth. Their calming energy also helps to promote a sense of peace and safety.

They are often associated with Root and Earth Star chakras for deep connection.

They symbolize beauty, tenderness, interconnectedness, and the strength of ancient life.

Crinoid fossils can be used in various ways, such as holding them during meditation to enhance grounding, displaying them as decorative pieces to invite calming energy into a space, or carrying them as a pocket keepsake or in jewelry to keep their protective and stabilizing properties close.
