If You Feel Drained After Everything… You’re Doing Something Wrong
This is one of the biggest red flags I see.
People say: “I feel exhausted after every ritual”, "I feel drained after doing anything spiritual”, “I need to recover every time I practice”...
And they think that’s normal.
It’s not.
You shouldn’t feel wiped out every time you do something.
That’s not a sign you’re “working hard.”
It’s a sign something is off.
Most of the time, it comes down to one thing.
You’re not grounding properly.
Or you’re not closing out your energy when you’re done.
What ends up happening is you open everything up, push energy out, focus hard for a few minutes…
…and then just stop.
No reset. No return.
So your system stays open. That’s where the drain comes from.
Another factor is overexertion.
People try to do too much too fast.
Too much focus. Too much intensity. Not enough control. That burns you out quickly.
There’s also the emotional side. If you’re doing work while stressed, overwhelmed, or reactive, you’re feeding that into what you’re doing. That takes more out of you than people realize.
Here’s the part that matters.
When your energy is balanced, you shouldn’t feel drained.
You should feel steady, clear and sometimes even more energized than before...
If that's not happening, adjustments are necessary. Typically, it's related to your grounding, pacing, or knowing when to halt. This highlights the importance of foundational work. Without it, individuals often mistakenly believe that exhaustion is part of the process. It's not.
If you’ve been feeling like this, don’t ignore it.
Fix the foundation.
Everything else becomes easier when your energy isn’t leaking all over the place.
Blessings
