Zebradorite (K,Ca,Na)Al(Al,Si)Si2O8Ab30, is a graphic quartz discovered by rural miners in Madagascar from the Norcross-Madagascar (NMG) Zebradorite quarry. They called this stone “Feldspath” (in French and Malagasy). Although not an officially recognized mineral, it’s popularity has gained worldwide recognition as a rare and beautiful stone that resembles the stripes of a zebra, interlaced with sunny feldspar and smoky quartz.

 

Considered the “stone of cooperative effort”, Zebradorite is believed to work with all of the Chakra energies in some shape or form. This effort is enhanced by its ability to work on emotional trauma and “traumatic assault” that occurs when a negative event effects us on a spiritual level. This stone helps with soothing the heart and calming the spirit. It offers a sense of peace in a time of turmoil.
