If you consider yourself an advanced practitioner, or even just someone who has been learning for a long time, this still applies to you. In a lot of ways, it applies to you more than anyone else.
Because the basics are what everything else is built on.
A lot of people reach a point where things start to feel inconsistent again, and the immediate reaction is to look for something more advanced, something new, something deeper. But more often than not, the issue isn’t a lack of advanced knowledge, it’s that the foundation underneath it isn’t as solid as it needs to be.
And that happens more than people want to admit.
A lot of practitioners jump around when they’re learning. Different methods, different paths, different systems. Trying a little bit of everything, picking up pieces here and there. There’s nothing wrong with that and it’s actually a really normal part of the process.
