A lot of people start collecting crystals before they actually understand what they’re doing with them. They carry them around, set them on a shelf, maybe put them under their pillow, and expect something obvious to happen. And when it doesn’t, they assume they’re doing something wrong.
You’re not doing anything wrong, you just haven’t been shown how to actually work with them yet.
Crystals aren’t here to do the work for you. They don’t override your energy, and they don’t fix things on their own. What they do is hold and stabilize energy in a very consistent way. That’s what makes them useful. They don’t fluctuate the way we do. They don’t get distracted. They don’t get overwhelmed. They hold steady. When you start working with that instead of expecting them to “perform,” everything starts to make a lot more sense.
